Viveros Requinoa; leading agricultural company and centuries-old tradition.
We are in the fruit business since 1889 with our founder Don Emilio Concha y Toro, his son Don Alfredo Vicuña Concha and today their descendants.
Viveros Requinoa (VR) is in constant exercise for the innovation in the development of varieties of cherries, plums, nectarines, peaches, almonds, grapes, pears and apples. This company, over 40 years old, is representative of important Californians geneticists as Bradford and Zaiger Genetics and is a member of the International Association of Nurseries Groups or AIGN® (Associated International Group of Nurseries).
VR represents the best varieties of apples, pears, nectarines, plums and peaches in the world, has new line of cherries and a new variety of almond called Independence.
VR has the advantage of being a vertically integrated fruit growers with long tradition, packers and exporters direct giving us a complete view of the business enterprise. This allows us to pass on to our clients complete business know-how and let them able to compete in the most demanding fresh fruit markets.
It is important to note that thanks to the Law on Protection of Patents, our suppliers rely on the proper use and protection of the material offered in Chile and will in the future continue to count on them to the extent that it is respected and thus consolidate our position as leading country market in fruit growing.
